BADYA -THE CREATIVE CITY
The new mixed-use development Badya
City, situated 30 kilometers west of
Central Cairo within the capital city’s
strategic extension area takes
a smart approach. As part of the 6th of
October City, Badya City will be
developed on an area of approximately
1,260 hectares by Palm Hills
Developments in collaboration with the government of Egypt and New Urban Communities Authority
Its integrated planning, digital tools and
thoughtful infrastructure adds to the
development of a human-centred, 7/24,
all-encompassing home base for about
150,000inhabitants, offering about 48,000 workplaces.
AS+P (lead consultant) and GRID (local
consultant) prepared a master plan for
the “Badya- 6th of October” project,
which is a development initiated by Palm
Hills Development (PHD or the Client), and The Ministry of Housing of the Republic of Egypt
GRID scope of work covered is limited to the following:
- Ministerialdecree document
- Schematic design drawings for apartments and
- A strategic master and program formulation with related infrastructure conceptual design is prepared for the “6th of October Oasis”, which is a development initiated by Palm Hills Development and the Ministry of Housing of the Republic of Egypt. A number of deliverables will be submitted to cover the infrastructure conceptual design (water, waste water, electricity, information and telecom infrastructure, civil engineering / grading, solid waste management).

- Site construction supervision and management (JBI (lead consultant) and GRID (local consultant)
